This is where a marketing strategy for specific products is created. To put it simply, the experts in this department do their best to make our games famous. Coordinating marketing campaigns and events for specific games are only a few of the creative tasks that these promotion and advertisement experts face.

You’re a Marketing Manager, which means:

You’re a creative strategist! You coordinate the preparation of a marketing plan and take care of its realization. Your decisions (and ideas!) decide the shape of cooperation with other development studios and agencies which support the promotional campaign of a given game. It’s a unique chance to get to know the video game industry from each side—after all, working as a Marketing Manager requires you to combine passion with expert experience, to make our games well-known!

TIPS:

  • Experience—gain experience in the video game industry (working for a publisher or developer)
  • Courses and trainings—attend training panels, e.g. “Gaming na Giełdzie” or Digital Dragon Academy lectures
  • Polish your foreign language skills—a C1 level of a foreign language is essential!
  • Marketing B2B—experience in this area will be useful for cooperation with developers
  • Follow the industry’s news—knowledge of specifications of gaming platforms, development studios, following marketing trends, and enthusiasm for video games make a great mixture
